Photo D. subject in focus, distant background out of focus

Distance: Close to subject
Aperture: Large Aperture
Zoom: Zoomed in

By focusing on the plant with a maximum aperture, the distant background is out of focus. This directs more attention to the main object while still allowing more information in the photo.

Sometimes you may not need to use the Macro feature if you get in close enough. The distant background may be out of focus already - experiment.
