School Candids Take a minimum of 20 candid (not posed) shots from around school. This assignment should take you a small amount of time each day over the next few weeks if done properly. You should not take all of your photos on the same day. You are trying to capture students and staff "in action" at school. In a true candid photo, the subject should not be posing for the camera. You can let them know you are there, but they should be acting normally. DO NOT interrupt any part of a class lesson, or enter a classroom without permission. Look for potential photos while you are out working on your other assignments. You should also look to capture faces and emotions of people - not their backs. Put all of your photos in a new folder (probably called "school candids") - then make a contact sheet when you have all of your photos. Turn in the contact sheet. |
